CLAT 2022 application from January 1 on consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
The Consortium of National Law Universities has announced the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) dates for the 2022 exams. The 2022 CLAT will be held on May 8 and online application will begin on January 1, 2022. The Law Admission Test is organized for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs. The CLAT application portal will remain open until March 31, 2022.

The CLAT application form will be published on the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Applicants who qualify for Class 12 or are taking the board exam will be eligible to apply to the CLAT UG, and students who have completed the LLB or are in their final year of the LLB program may apply for the CLAT. LLM. For CLAT UG, students will be required to achieve 45 percent of marks or its equivalent on the qualifying exam, and for CLAT PG, 50 percent of marks. However, there are flexibilities for reserved category students.
The consortium, as a first step, has planned two tests in 2022. It has also reduced the CLAT counseling fee to Rs 30,000 from Rs 50,000. For students in the reserved category, the counseling fee will be Rs. 20,000. .
“CLAT-2022 will be held on May 8, 2022. The consortium has decided that CLAT-2023 will be held on December 18, 2022. Therefore, in 2022, two CLAT reviews will take place in one year,” said an official statement.
The consortium also decided to reduce CLAT’s consulting fees. For general category students, the revised fee will be Rs 30,000. Previously, the fees were Rs 50,000.
For candidates in the reserved category, the fees will be Rs 20,000.
