The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday announced the extension of the deadline for submitting online application forms for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2022 Session 1.
The deadline for submitting the application form, which was due to end on March 31, has now been extended until April 5, 2022 (Tuesday) (until 9:50 p.m.).
Likewise, the deadline for paying the online application fee has been extended to April 5, 2022 (until 11:50 p.m.).
“In view of the numerous inquiries received from candidates and the difficulties they are facing in completing the online application form for JEE (main) – 2022 Session 1 due to various reasons, the National Testing Agency has decided to extend the last date for Submitting Online Application Forms for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2022 Session 1,” the NTA said in a notice today.
The JEE Main session 1 exam will take place on April 21, 24, 25, 29 and May 1 and 4, 2022.
The NTA said that a total of 12 new foreign cities in addition to the existing 13 cities have also been added for JEE (Main) – 2022 Session 1 at the request of the Indian Diaspora in various foreign cities.
“The dates for advance notification of the examination city, uploading of admission cards and declaration of results will be posted on the JEE (main) portal in due course,” he added.
