The Haryana Secondary Education Council (BSEH) has extended the application form date for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET). Applicants who have passed the previous deadline can now apply for HTET until December 3, 2021, by logging into the official website at haryanatet.in.
Now, as the deadline has been extended, the edit window should see an extension to other dates as well. Applicants will be able to make corrections to their online application form. It should be noted that no changes can be made to the details, including level applied, caste category, disabled option, and home state.
Before starting the process, interested applicants should ensure that they have a valid email address and mobile phone number. Personal information, valid photo ID, recent photo, signature and thumbprint should be kept on hand when applying.
Applicants can check the steps mentioned below to apply for HTET:
Step 1 – Go to the HTET website, haryanatet.in. Click on the Register / Login tab on the home page. Then click on the Apply Now button.
2nd step – Registration process:
- Select the exam levels (PRT, TGT, PGT). Candidates can select one or more levels.
- After selecting a registration form will open where applicants will have to fill in their personal details.
- The login details will be sent by SMS to the candidate’s mobile number. Log in with the credentials provided.
- My page will be generated with all the information and will provide information regarding the steps to follow.
Step 3 – After completing registration, applicants will be required to upload a scanned photo, signature and left thumbprint.
Step 4 – After successfully uploading the documents, applicants will need to pay the application fee and print the fee receipt. The fee structure for each category was specifically indicated in the notification. Applicants are invited to refer to the document.
Step 5 – Applicants should take a copy of the application form and check all the details.
Please note that applicants only need to submit one application. Multiple applications would result in the cancellation of the application by the jury.
According to the official notification, the admission cards for the exam will be available for download from December 8, 2021. In the event of a discrepancy in the admission card, candidates are advised to present themselves to the examination unit of the December 13 to 16. The exam for HTET will take place on December 18 and 19, 2021 for three levels. Level 1, to gain eligibility to teach Classes IV as a PRT. Level 2, for classes VI-VII like TGT. And, level 3, for classes IX-XII like PGT.
It will be a paper-and-pencil exam and the questions will be of the MCQ type. For each level, the question paper will be 150 points and the duration will be two and a half hours. Qualifying scores for all applicants (except SC and PH Haryana) will be 60% and for SC and PH applicants Haryana the qualifying scores will be 55%. There will be no negative score for any of the levels
