Minister of Foreign Affairs and CARICOM, Dr. Amery Browne, witnessed a demonstration of the new online application portal for the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) as part of the digitization of the application process. CSME application.
In a statement, the ministry said on July 26, 2022 that Dr Browne met with the iGovTT team and the Ministry of Digital Transformation to review and assess the new CSME online application portal.
Once completed, the ministry said the portal will facilitate the online receipt of applications for skills certificates and work permit exemptions under the right of establishment.
The ministry said Dr Browne participated in the demonstration along with staff from the ministry’s CARICOM and Caribbean Affairs division and the CSME unit.
The ministry said it expressed its appreciation for the work done so far and was excited about the next steps towards completing the CSME application process digitization project.
The online application portal is part of the ongoing digital transformation of services provided by the Department of Foreign Affairs and CARICOM, in particular the services provided under the CARICOM Single Market and Economy.
