CLARKSVILLE, Tennessee (CLARKSVILLENOW) – In response to confusion, phone system outages and frustration over the vaccine rollout, the state of Tennessee on Wednesday added a new website portal and a new phone number for improve appointment services for COVID-19 vaccinations.
The vaccine registration website for Montgomery County is www.signupgenius.com/go/Montgomery_Priority_List. This website is only open to those who are in the current phase, according to a press release from county spokesperson Michelle Newell.
This is the first time that a registration website has officially been made public. A similar registration site had previously been privately emailed to many people in Clarksville and was used by around 75 and over to get vaccinated, according to previous reports from Clarksville Now.
Tennessee has now set up a call center with the number 866-442-5301 to help schedule appointments. You can also call the Montgomery County Health Department at 931-648-5747.
Montgomery County currently vaccinates three groups of people:
- Phase 1a1: Inpatient health care providers, first responders in direct contact with the public and staff and residents of long-term care facilities.
- Phase 1a2: Those who work primarily in outpatient health care facilities.
- Citizens of Montgomery County 75 years and over.
“Please do not attempt to register by going to the registration website or calling the phone number provided to help you register, unless you meet the criteria for the current phase,” Newell said. “An on-site verification will be requested before the vaccinations are administered. ”
