MANILA, Philippines – Health maintenance organizations (HMOs) PhilCare now offers COVID Home Care Telemonitoring, an exclusive online consultation service for members who test positive for the viral illness.
The program allows affected members to receive advice from PhilCare’s home care physicians via video call.

Affected patient-members will need to have a copy of their RT-PCR or COVID-positive confirmatory antigen test results with them to benefit from the service. It should also be indicated if they have mild or moderate symptoms, or if they are asymptomatic.
Affected members can benefit from this service by accessing DigiMed PLUS through the PhilCare website at www.philcare.com.ph and clicking on “Member Gateway” in the Gateway menu. Members registered in Member Gateway can then log in, while non-registered PhilCare members simply need to register.
Once inside the member gateway, members should select “DigiMed PLUS”, then “Do Digital Consult”. Then, they must select “COVID Home Care Telemonitoring” to schedule an appointment with a doctor for a video consultation, then indicate “COVID Positive Telemonitoring” as the primary complaint before confirming their respective requests.
