Online registration for junior clerk positions starting tomorrow

Prospective candidates are invited to apply online to fill 19 junior clerk positions as initial candidates in the Directorate of Fisheries and Animal Resources Development, Odisha.

The recruitment process will be conducted by the Odisha Personnel Selection Commission (OSSC). In accordance with the detailed announcement published by the Commission, the online registration process for the recruitment campaign will start tomorrow (20 December 2021) and will continue until 20 January 2022.

Submission of the online application form can be done between December 20, 2021 and January 29, 2022. The deadline for online payment of the examination fee is January 20, 2022.

Candidates can apply for the positions in online mode only through the website No physical copy/hard copy of the online application form should be submitted by the applicant.

Remuneration and conditions of service:

Appointment to these positions will be on an initial contract with remuneration of Rs 13,300 per month (for 1 year) as per Odisha Group C Positions (Contract Appointment Amendment Rules, 2013 and amended up to date and the terms of service will be guided by the above rules and other relevant recruitment rules in effect.

Education Qualification:

Applicants must have passed +3 in Arts/Science/Commerce or possess any other qualification equivalent to the +3 exam with knowledge of IT skills are eligible to apply for the position.


The minimum age for the position is 21 and the maximum age is 32 as of 01.01.2019. The upper age limit may be relaxed for applicants in the SEBC, SC, ST & Women and PwD categories.

Exam fees:

Applicants other than the SC/ST/PwD category are required to pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs 200. The fee can be deposited only via online mode using internet banking/debit card/credit card /UPI/other payment methods available linked to the online application form.

Selection process:

The selection procedure is divided into four stages – Preliminary Examination (qualification only) (to be carried out via a computer-based recruitment examination), the main written examination will be carried out in two parts, Computer Proficiency Test (practical) Qualifying Notes – 15 and verification of documents.
