Kota Kinabalu: The online appointment system of Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) will no longer be available from 1 October. According to the notice, many online services are still available through the MySESB application, including the request for new electricity supply, the change of customer accounts or the deactivation of accounts and the request for meter transfer.
Customers can also check and pay their bills online through the app or through their website at www.mysesb.com.my or through their self-service kiosks. They can also go to designated agents including POS Malaysia, GrabPay, Shopee, Touch & Go, Lazada, Boost, IOS apps, e-cash terminals like Shell, Petronas, Petron and KK Mart and TM Point to pay their electricity bills. The online appointment system was introduced at the beginning of last year to, among other things, reduce physical contact between staff and customers as well as to make it easier for customers to settle related matters in the context of the Covid-19 situation at that time.
Services provided through the online system at the time were for new applications, name change and account closure. * Follow us on Instagram and join our Telegram and/or WhatsApp channels for the latest news you don’t want to miss.
