Bhubaneswar: The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited eligible candidates to apply for the probation officer position. Online registration of applications and payment of fees will start from October 5, 2021 and will continue until October 25, 2021.

The SBI plans to hold the preliminary review online in November / December 2021. However, the bank has not provided a specific date for the review.
The bank will recruit a total of 2,056 probation officers as part of this recruitment process. Applicants will need to complete preliminaries, principals, interviews, and pre-exam training to be hired for the positions.
The bank has reserved 200 positions for candidates belonging to the economically weaker section (EWS) of the company.
Qualification for education:
The application must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. Those who are in the last year / semester of end of studies can also apply provisionally on the condition that, if they are called for an interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the end of studies exam at most late on 12.31.2021.
Applicants with an integrated double degree certificate must ensure that the exam passing date is no later than 12.31.2021. Applicants with the qualification of Chartered Accountant or Accountant can also apply.
Age: The candidate must be at least 21 years old to be able to apply. The upper age limit is 30 years. The age will be calculated on April 1, 2021.
Salary: Selected candidates will be hired at a base salary of Rs 27,620 with four increments up front. Salary will be in the range of Rs 23,700 to Rs 42,020. Applicants will be eligible for DA, HRD, CCA and other allowances.
Selected applicants will be required to sign a deposit of Rs 2 lakh upon joining. According to the link, applicants will be required to serve the bank for a minimum period of three years.
Registration fees: General / EWS / OBC applicants will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 750. A “nil” application fee will be for SC / ST / PWD applicants. The administration fees once paid will not be refunded to any account.
