TAYLOR Wimpey East Scotland has announced plans to apply for a building permit in principle to Angus Council to deliver 40 to 50 new homes through land development on Victoria Street in Monifieth.
The proposed development will include a mix of two, three and four bedroom homes, 25% of which will be affordable.
Ahead of the later application, and after the first online consultation event in July, Taylor Wimpey East Scotland revealed that he will be holding another online public consultation event on Wednesday August 18 between 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. to keep the local community updated on the plans.
The digital consultation will give members of the public the chance to speak to the home builder’s design team and provide feedback.
Pauline Mills, Director of Lands and Planning for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, said: âOur second online public consultation event is the next step in our community engagement strategy for our development project on Victoria Street, Monifieth. This allows us to further promote our proposals for this territory, which we had the pleasure of seeing a positive reception in the local community following our first event a few weeks ago.
âOur final online public consultation event on Wednesday August 18, 2021 for Victoria Street will give us the opportunity to consider the views of as many stakeholders as possible as we develop our proposal for our next development in Monifieth and create a modest extension of our existing Victoria. Development of barns.
âOnce again, I would like to take this opportunity to encourage the local community to engage with us online to share their views so that we can consider them when developing our emerging development proposal. Alternatively, our âGive Feedbackâ form is also available on our website, and members of the public can provide feedback to us in this way if it is more convenient. “
