SIBU (July 4): A technical issue in the Google Form that prevented food basket applicants from submitting their application online was fixed after the issue was highlighted, said Dr Annuar Rapaee, coordinator of Sibu Divisional Disaster Management Committee (SDDMC).
“I have received many complaints from applicants that they cannot submit the online form sooner.
“This is because after filling in the space asking for their names, a message stating ‘must be a number greater than zero’ was displayed.
“After reporting the problem to them, the people of Sibu and Lanang (parliamentary constituencies) can already register (for food aid using the) Google Form,” Dr Annuar told the Borneo Post today.
According to Dr Annuar, the link – https://forms.gle/zZGSVX8SuS2p2in27 – for candidates from Sibu and Lanang constituencies to request food baskets can be found on Lanang MP Alice Lau’s Facebook page.
He added that the food baskets for beneficiaries in the two parliamentary constituencies are managed by Sibu MPs Oscar Ling and Lau.
As for the Nangka state constituency, he said that an “Almari Sedekah” (alms closet) has been set up for the public to donate food items to those in need.
Dr Annuar took the opportunity to thank the 23 units of the Nangka branch of the Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu Party (PBB) for providing food items to those in need.
